Water Development and Management Master Plan
The Water Development and Management Master Plan (Sdage) is a planning document for the water sector. For a given period, it defines:
- The main guidelines to ensure management aimed at preserving aquatic environments and meeting the needs of different water users;
- The quality and quantity objectives to be achieved for rivers, lakes, groundwater, estuaries, and coastal areas;
- The necessary measures to prevent any deterioration and ensure the improvement of the status of waters and aquatic environments.
