This new digital platform has been designed to serve as a true tool of transparency, information, and exchange between our institution and all our partners, water users, and citizens committed to the sustainable management of water resources.
Since its creation, AEL has been working for the preservation, integrated, and concerted management of water resources within our basin, in close collaboration with local, regional, and international stakeholders. In a context marked by climate change and increasing pressure on natural resources, our mission is more essential than ever.
Through this portal, we provide you with up-to-date information about our projects, actions, partners, and citizen participation mechanisms. It is also intended to be a space for learning and awareness about the challenges related to water within our area of competence.
Together, our ambition is to make our Sahelian region a space where water becomes a factor of development rather than a source of conflict.
